The Knights That Say Heresey!

Bit of a lull right now of finished projects so time to show off an older one.  This is my grey knights army complete with a matching warhound titan.  This is an older project and there are a lot of techniques I have learned since that I would have loved to applied but there is no way sending ones skills back in time yet.

The worst part of course is that the photos were taken on an older camera so please excuse a few of the glaring issues due to this.  Enjoy a selection of the boys in silver:

More Quest

Just a few WHQ models today.  First up is the Banebeasts Talos model which I will be using in or Norsca exploration as a titan. I need to redo the base but the paint job is finished at least.  This guy is huge and I highly recommend Banebeast's line they are amazing.

The fire elemental however will be used for a high elven mage character I've been working on as a summon-able monster.

Its Clix Time

I've got a few heroclix models under my belt to prove this isn't just a GW paint log :)

The paint jobs these models come with are often downright criminally bad and with just a bit of work and technique can be improved immensely.  Even throwing on a few washes would fix 60% of the issues with these figures.  Underneath all that hastily applied mass production paint really are a few good sculpts!

The Angry And Not So Angry

Finished up a commission job on a hunter/stalker tank and it turned out pretty blue!

In addition here are a few WIP pics of the Angry Marines army.  They have a very long way to go and I'm currently too low on yellow airbrush paint to continue which makes me ANGRY!

Next up will be a little bit of daemonic love and eventually some more chrome tau!

Passin the Pigskin

 It's old project time again!  This time lets take a look at two old blood bowl teams that I did as commission work.  As always with the older pics please excuse the bad camera work.

Our FLGS had a sadly short lived Blood Bowl league.  So short in fact that after I painted up two teams for other people I've only halfway finished my own halfling team.  First up is a lizardmen team which I'm still very proud of:

The hardest request was a team of Russian inspired ogres complete with rioting gnoblars.  These guys took a ton of work to get on the pitch but the looks they got were priceless!

Defense and Offense

Time to show off some new commission work.  Finished up the Aegis Defense Line for a clients army in a fairly generic battle torn scheme:

As for the offense (or offensive) part I've started an angry marines army with the random space marine parts that I had sitting around.  These guys should be a fun time.

Stick a Fork In It!

So here is the WHQ Old World collection of monsters and of course our poor warriors destined to fight them.  This is without a doubt the biggest and most daunting project I have ever embarked upon.  Now after more than five years the monster table is complete and painted!  Unfortunately a camera capable of making a crystal clear group shot eludes me but hey why not post it anyways right?

Its been a heck of a long road, heck just setting up the picture took plenty of time, but I'm glad to have the old world done once and for all.
