Had to get a demo set of Star Wars Legion painted up ASAP for a demo day at the store and in hopes of inticing new people into playing. Speed painting was of coarse the key as it took shape over about 10 hours of painting or so. Honestly sticking to the 'correct' colors is super boring but the models have a lot of potential for more interesting (obviously pink storm troopers) schemes!
All the storm troopers were primed in a grey and zenithel sprayed from a 45 degree angle with white for a super fast base color. Vader was a fun exercise of painting black though.
The rebels were done the same way as the storm troopers but then hit with various sepia and brown washes to quickly get the base colors. They took a bit more time but weren't to hard to paint up either.
