Ogres of Norsca

Delving further into the Warhammer Quest painting I managed to get a start on my ogre army for Kings of War as well.  Nothing is fully based yet so there's plenty of work to do before fielding them but they are ready for WHQ for sure:

The butcher just called for fake blood, don't judge...

Purple fire for the firebelly was fun to do.

Picked up this D&D mini's giant years ago and now he serves as our frost giant.

The gnoblars were fished out of a bucket of parts from some used ogres I acquired

I decided to add an icey back to the gorger just to make it a little more themed with the rest of the ogres.

More purple!  The hunter model has a lot of fun little details too a very enjoyable model to paint.

Found this toy monster at a michaels and turned it into our Ice Wyrm

Big weapons for the Iron Guts.  A lot of the metal in these ogres has been given a slight purple shading as a theme.

The ogre iron gut hero with a giant shield, eventually he will be part of my siege breakers for KoW.

The leadbelchers turned out alright with the matches having a real contrast to the frozen skin.

Gotta have a mammoth for norsca and for an ogre army!  This was a reaper miniature recently'ish' released.

Mournfangs really are much bigger models than I thought they would be.  Still adding purple fur wherever I can for this theme!

Regular old Ogre bulls this time in a cold flavor.

For the ogre hero I used the executioner maneater which is a fantastic model but I had lost the original top of the weapon so I had to improvise.

a poor man's rhinox, those things just cost way too much for me to bother with anymore.
