Package Delivered

Yep Cthulhu Wars kickstarter finally came in so I guess its time to crack into painting it all!  Storing this behemoth in an easily playable fashion was a top priorty too.

So I bought a shelf (5 bucks on facebook woot!) and filled it with eldritch things.  Got a bunch of fake books to store all the factions in and label them in such a way that no religious solicitors would stay and visit for some reason...

The first faction I had to paint was Bubastis, gotta love some cats!

Windwalker, being the easist paint scheme, came second, really like the models in this one.  Now that I have all the alternate cultists I gotta revist some previously finished factions as well to add the new content.

Couldn't forget the neutral units, Nodens was an amazing model to paint.  So much going on sculpting wise and a lot of fun to experiment on.

The Caco Demon turned out to be a favorite of mine too once I got into it.  Lots of interesting design and thought went into this guy.  Really suggest painting this one up even just for fun!

The Masks of Narlythotep were both quick and fun to paint up.  Not a lot of difficulty to them and hope to finally start getting neutral units on the table next game.

The hound of Tindalos was another easy paint job most of the neutral units I got from Game Steward before the rest of my kickstarter arrived.  Highly recommend them as their shipping is fast and the prices are super reasonable!

I broke out some Vallejo color changing paint on the slimes from Yuggoth.  Really like how greassy and yucky they turned out, pictures don't do these paints justice.

And with the watcher painted I just have a myriad of brain cylindars to paint before we can play Yuggoth map games!

Since it was easy I went ahead and just did all the bases for the glow in the dark great old ones.  Couldn't bring myself to paint over the glowy goodness.

The number one map that I wanted to play was the Library at Celano and I really enjoyed the librarian model in this one.  There's a lot of opportunity and character in this one though those books got a little tedious I have to say.

Last but not least so far I printed and painted up the Midnight Aristocracy fan faction.  This ones is a really interesting faction with a ton of playtesting behind it.  Can't wait to have it hit the table!
