KoW Expansions

 Yes further expansion of random armies is in order.

After years of hibernation I managed to get some desire to add to the Brotherhood army.  These guys are a massive pain to paint and take forever.  These are the simplest heraldry for the initiates

the dwarves gained a regiment of rangers and a steel juggernaut.

The undead gained a few Goreblights as I shuffled through the various bones boxes.

The brotherhood even gained a spellcaster damsel!

And for Rhordia I've got a mounted heroes as well.

Rhordia Returns

Back to KoW again and it feels great!  I wanted to get some units made up for Battle masters but I somehow lost my halberd and crossbowmen.

The logical thing was to 3D print an absurd amount of battle masters halberds and crossbows :)  Old minis are just fun to paint!

And a big ol batch of crossbows too!  I honestly forgot how fun this paint scheme is might have to expand the army more.

Revisiting

I decided that it was time to add a bit to some long neglected armies as of late.

Had these guys kicking around for some time and finally conscripted them into the Night Stalkers army.  These will be used as nightmares.

The League of Rhordia army really needed some more halflings so why not add the first spear horde.

Add in a vaguely overcompensating army standard and a miniature gandalf and Rhordia has been bolstered!

I thought it would be good to get an updated group photo of both armies while I was at it too.

Gnomes and Dead Space Elves!

In an attempt to clear out the painters block I thought I'd paint up a few eldar models lying around.

As a result I never want to finish this army.  There are about 70 gems on each stupid model and they take FOREVER to paint up....

I did get a wee little package of wee little people a few days ago though.  As soon as it arrived the eldar were instantly shelved again.  GNOMES!!!!!:

These came through Old School Miniatures alpine gnomes kickstarter and they are AWESOME!  I've been wanting some halflings for my League of Rhordia army but when I saw these coming up I knew that shorter was better!  Why just have half sized guys when you can go full gnome?!?!
