Two things actually! First up the beastman lord which I had to paint up in a hurry:
And an older pic of the giant scorpions
And hey while I'm at it why not post up the rest of the older pics of all the stuff that isn't in the old world?
This bad boy of metal (literally all metal) is the dragon turtle and is certainly a deadly weapon if hurled.
Gian snake looks like something out of some kind of disney movie....
Jungle cats are no fun at low levels.
Kairos because you know he'll be making an appearance at some point later in our games...
This monkey is an all metal p65 miniature. After priming him he fell on concrete and the concrete lost sporting a nice chip after the monkey touched down. That is a 60mm base on him to give you an idea of scale.
Pygmies!!!!!
A few seekers, one of the last things painted for my daemon army.
And what lustrian jungle would be complete without snakes?
Also I managed to take a few action shots of the cuddle daemons at the last tournament so here they are battling it out:
They did enjoy dancing around the warhound it seems.

Cuddly Preperations
The cuddle daemons have finished their final preparations for the tournament. I won't be playing them sadly as I have to work but a friend will be.
Had to make an extra head for the lord of change to create Kairos of course. No magnets were needed and its even a removable option!
In addition to that little edit one of the pink horrors needed an instrument of chaos. What more appropriate weapon is there than the bag pipes of change?
Finally they needed something stylish to ride around in so I present the big book of cuddly change!
At some point I do plan on making a book for each god but for now one will contain their love!

Back To Work
December was a fun break from commission work but its time to get back into the swing of things. To start with I've gotten back to the nurgle titan project that has been taking up space on the table for some time. The basic colors are patched out here and there just finishing up the messy parts of the painting.
This is before any real detail work is being put into it so pardon the sludgy dust...
The smoke needs a lot more work but sadly my airbrush sprung a clog and is in dire need of a full dismantle and clean process so that will have to wait.
On to a few things that are already finished in the army! The daemon prince is the piece I'm most proud of in this army. I took the wings off a reaper cthulhu type thing and they worked out rather well IMHO.
This biker character was an interesting piece. I was given an already (badly and thickly) painted bike and most of a marine and asked to make it look like he had been on the bike so long that he was absorbed by it. Well here's the result:

And Done.
Finished up the old world monster tables for Warhammer Quest finally!
First up are the Slaanesh and Khorne chaos warriors just to be complete. This way no matter which god your chaos warrior chooses I've got it covered!
As for the unposted old photos there are a ton! Here goes:
Needed a few beastmen characters on some entries so of course reaper provides.
The chimera is from reaper as the new GW one is WAY to big to fit in the dungeon as a normal large monster.
Goblin characters are some of the most fun models to paint.
The gorgons are from reaper and in spite of the mono-pose they work well.
The bull god incarnate in the great taurus:
The reaper griffon is a wonderful model nice and easy to paint and a classic pose.
Another once hard to find model the lamasu. Of course now GW has them back up for sale at prices that nearly match what I paid on ebay for them....
An old classic liche model.
After playing dark souls I decided the manticore needed to be white :)
I love this reaper minotaur character and I only had to touch up and shade the pre paint work that it came with as its one of the legend rubber models.
I wish I had waited to paint this model as its the necromancer from avatars of war. Not sure I really did it much justice...
Poo daemons or nurglings you decide!
The rat ogres were bought off ebay and came painted however despite this I thought i'd leave the paint job on them as they aren't too bad.
Some more skaven characters (so tired of painting skaven!)
And yet more skaven... so many rats!
I have several flamers in multiple colors/eras of models fun ones to paint too.
And of course zombies.
So whats next? First up is going to be a group shot which will take some work to get together but should be done soonish. After that its on to lustria!

The dark elves were a bit of a salvage job as they already came painted (horribly) so some details are no longer present.
Finally the last new thing to be finished are a selection of chaos characters to be used in various strange monster encounters. Lots of flavor and variety in these one which is always fun to paint. As for the unposted old photos there are a ton! Here goes:
