Finish Line of Madness!

Finished up the last few things for Cthulhu Wars and that sticks a non euclydean fork in the whole thing!

The worms of groth took me a while to pin down what I wanted to do with them, I do enjoy the rather weird and somewhat yonic symbolysm of these world ending worms.

Wamps and Vooniths! Fun names, weird monsters for sure.

I wasn't able to snag a full set of investigators sadly but what I did get I was rather surprised about the details.  These really need to be in resin the plastic isn't doing them any favors, great sculpts!

And with the shinning Trapazohedron the only cardboard in the game is now spell books, faction sheets and the board itself!

So that's it a GIGANTIC board game with lots of huge minis!  Really love this game wish I could get it to the table way more often.

Non Euclidean Progress

Its always exciting to be near the end of a giant project.  Never had I thought I'd actually get down to painting this monsterous (pun intended) board game.Hopefully within the next week I can finish up the last few minis in my collection and (until I can find some rare items) put a fork in it!

First up the dreamlands!  Though its not the map I'm most exceited to play (gotta hand that one to Library) I really did think the sculps were nice and creative for this one.  Even the Bhole has some interesting texture contrasts.

I'm not to satisfied by my elder shogoth paint job but not sure what I want to do with it honestly.  Sweet looking sculpt though!

The Dunwich Horror was a real treat to paint.  Every sculpt was creative and interesting and its in purple!

Creepy Sandy Peterson was a nice addition to this one!

Dire Yog is by far the most impressive sculpt and maybe my favorite model in the game too.

Finally junior, or at least an artist representation of what he would look like if he wasn't invisible!

Further Depths of Madness

Can't stop, won't stop.  Nearing the end of painting up all my Cthulhu Wars stuff!  I'm starting to realize what an insane amount of painting this project is, even mroe than I was dreading from the beginning.

First up a group photo of all the official factions I have.  Invasion is missing since I don't have the minis for that one yet.

I printed and painted up the anubis faction (which is being officially released as invasion so hey close enough).  I honestly like the theme and models of the fan version a bit more but we'll see when the official one gets out in the wild.

There was a problem with my grey spray can and it caused some odd flow of paint that I tried to fix with black, A few happy accidents latter and I actually like the result for the Giant Blind Albino Penguins or GBAP!

And yet there are more cats as well, neutral cats but cats non the less.

Still a few bits, bobs and neutral units to paint up before this whole project is done but the finish line is near!
