Fire Raptor

Finished up another commission, this time a fire raptor.  This big old gem of a model was a level 3 and ended up having a lot of freehand and just fun stuff all over.  The turrets move (as well as one would expect considering forgeworld resin!) and even the space marines manning them are painted.

The wings have been given wings so as to ensure the imperial brick like thing stays aloft.

Client wanted a clear canopy so as to glimpse the cramped pilot inside.  Seriously that can't be comfortable to fly!

Added some more fun freehand on the underside as well.

The OSL was added near the end as I wanted to give the model a splash of color to accent it.  It's still very unnerving that this whole thing balances on a relatively small base though.

These Tanks Are Fight

Finished up another commission.  This time some dark angel tanks:

First up a Deimos pattern predator.  The turrets for the side sponsons are well designed but the forgeworld resin certainly doesn't do them any favors in the durability department.

Added in some free hand to fill the blank spaces and make it a little more interesting.

The spartan landraider is a real beast of a kit! The side hull and tracks are single pieces on each side!  Weighs a lot as well.  Again worked in some fun freehand to fill spaces.

Gave it some wings on the sides to help with mobility obviously.

Ravenwing Bikers are Go!

Recently finished up a Ravenwing Bike Commission.  These were a fun exercise in painting black for sure!

Banners are always fun.  Not really a fan of the fully sculpted banners from GW.  Really restricts your freedom but they work fine.

Yet more bikers!  These were all done to a Lvl 2 standard with Lvl 1 bases.

And finally the group photo!  May you never get speeding tickets...

Revenge of Dark Vengeance

Just finished up the 40k starter set for Who's Game House in Rapid City SD.  They will be in store and ready to game with right away!

Capn and Libby

  Just finished up the Dark Angels Captain and Librarian.  Pretty sure the Captains help with security at the library which is why they are done together...

Prepare for a special Tau project (or two) coming soon as well...

Dragon and More Dark Vengeance

  With time being short currently I'm still trying to work on both an in store copy of dark vengeance and Warhammer Quest.  So here's a dragon and some termies!

More Store Support

During the small amount of time I have at this point I've been working on a demo set of 40k from the Dark Vengeance box set.  Also finished up the last of the June prize support in the form of a Night Lords marine.

I'm in dire need of a real camera (currently using the cell phone one..)  so hopefully soon I can arrange for that to happen!
