Dungeon Time Again!

It's time to head back to Warhammer Quest territory!  We've started up a new campaign and are happily chugging through Lustria in our quest for wealth and or fame (really infamy more than anything).

I never did get to painting all the Lustria monster encounters so its time to get to work!

First up is our new Elven Ranger.  The original ranger never really felt right as a character and felt like it needed to be either re-worked (into actually being a ranger!) or split up into a ranger/spell sword type of class.

The lizards were a fun evening of splashing colors all over.

Which inspired this bright and cheery set of spider riders!

These savage orc models are a lot more fun to paint than I thought they would be.  Lots of little detail but not over the top like newer GW models.

I was going for a more purple look to the saurus but they ended up a purple pink.  Either way at least they are bright!

Really really bright...

The mystik boss and forest goblin boss are both from the arachnorok spider kit.

Yellow skinks are fun, maybe I should have chosen a different color board to put them on though.

The old forest goblin models are really cute.

In fact most of the old goblin models are just a joy to paint and have a lot of character.

Finally a few dark elf executioners.  It really seems though that as soon as I paint up a set of monsters they inevitably don't show up in the next adventure and instead are replaced with monsters I haven't finished yet.  Very annoying!

  1. Awesome work - that's a lot of very nicely-painted miniatures! I am less productive than you, but have had a slow-burn Lustria Warhammer Quest project on the go for a while - here are some of my Saurus warriors: https://pawncocktail.blogspot.com/2016/05/lizardmen-saurus-warriors-with-spears.html
